Ante-Natal Care

Regular ante-natal checks are very important for the health of both mother and baby.  Please make an ante-natal appointment as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed.

Family Planning

All partners provide family planning advice.  Dr Wilding & Dr McGeoch offer contraceptive implants, Dr Wilding IUCD fitting or removal.

Child Health

The practice provides a full immunisation service and runs development clinics with the health visitors (Wednesday mornings). Telephone  531 6351.

Joint Injections

We provide a joint injection service to those patients who would benefit from this.  The doctor will advise. 

Travel Advice & Vaccinations (there may be a charge for some vaccinations).  syringe

Please book your Travel advice appointment early, as the practice nurse must identify the correct vaccinations.  Vaccinations must be given several weeks before you go on holiday.  Please see the above tab for more information.

  • Flu vaccination (Oct – Dec)

If you are over 75 and have not been seen by a GP for more than a year, or aged 16 to 75 and not been seen for 3 years, the doctor may give you a more extensive examination, should they consider this beneficial.
